1 hour appointment in a private room including intake, treatment, post treatment discussion, rescheduling, and payment. The Acupuncturist may use any modality she feels are clinically appropriate and that the patient agrees to receive including: acupuncture, moxa, gua sha, cupping, bleeding, Tui Na, Shamanic Work, Reiki, lifestyle counseling and coaching.
Financial Policies for Community Acupuncture treatments Sliding Scale, $70-$40
The structure of an appointment will be 10 minutes for intake, 5 minutes for needling, then the patient rests with needles in for an appropriate amount of time per case, approximately 30min. Only one Traditional East Asian Medicine modality, including acupuncture, moxa, gua sha, or bleeding is guaranteed in a community acupuncture treatment. The appropriate modality will be chosen by the Acupuncturist, based on diagnosis and the time available during the Community style shift, and performed with agreement of patient. Patients will use a sliding scale payment system, on the honor system, with no need to provide proof of income.

Payment for Missed Appointments
You will never be required to pay for missed appointments. After missing or cancelling an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, twice in a year, you will be asked to make appointments on the day you would like a treatment rather than in advance. If you would prefer to continue to make appointments in advance you may choose to pay, in full, for your missed or late-cancelled appointments. There is no penalty for late cancellations related to COVID-19 signs or symptoms. Please stay home if you are sick.
Payment is due at the time of services rendered. If the patient would like to use insurance, a Superbill will be provided for patients receiving private treatments.
